The update introduces four optional personalities for ChatGPT Cynic, Robot, Listener, and Nerd each altering the chatbot’s tone and interaction style. Initially, these will be available to a limited number of users before a wider release.
An improved Voice Mode now adjusts responses to match the user’s context and is compatible with custom GPTs. This mode aims to make interactions more adaptive and natural across different scenarios.

The release comes amid heightened competition in the AI sector. Rival Company Anthropic recently revoked OpenAI’s API access, alleging a breach of its terms of service related to coding tools.
